We all gathered off I-95 in Titusville, FL on a cloudy morning to cruise in to the big cat rescue grounds. We all had a nice surprise as Scott flew screaming by all of us on a straight part of the road. We met the people at the refuge and they gave us guided tours of the complex in small groups. It is not open to the general public and we thank Brian (Spoons) for getting us invited.
The tour was eye opening, especially since you were within a foot or two of the cats. You cannot describe how big some of these ats are until you are that close to them.
They told us that there are 200 known white bengal tigers in the world. they have 8.
Once the tour was over, we had a nice cruise over to the beach and then down south to Melbourne Beach for a photo shoot. Later we cruised over to the Chart House for a leisurely dinner on the water. A trip not soon to forget!
